About Us
I-squared where ideas become innovation is a research hub that supports the development of an interdisciplinary research within the built environment. Our overarching aim is to create built environments that are not only intelligent and responsive but also adaptive, ethical, and fundamentally human-centric.
To achieve this we actively train students, industry stakeholders, and professionals globally in the application of fourth and fifth Industrial Revolution technologies. Our outreach spans both developed and developing nations, and we are proud to establish dedicated training hubs in developing regions to ensure the long-term sustainability and continuation of these vital initiatives.
Our training is funded by research councils within and outside the United Kingdom. This funding represents our strong dedication and investment in knowledge transfer. Beyond training and nurturing the next generation of built environment professionals in modern technologies, I² Research Hub pioneers the seamless integration of agentic AI, quantum computing, and immersive metaverse interfaces.

Dr. Osunsanmi is a pioneer in the application of agentic AI and immersive technologies within the built environment. As the Director of I² Research Hub, he leads a cross-disciplinary team dedicated to bridging the gap between bold innovation and real-world implementation.
His research portfolio includes high-impact publications on autonomous property valuation, metaverse-based urban simulation, and quantum computing frameworks for smart infrastructure.
